i thought capcom said they were going to make it arcade perfect since they were basically selling to the nostalgia market? ive played both and i know that the sf3 in anniversarys alot different compared to the dreamcast version, especially in parrying. in the dreamcast version, parrys had minimal breaks in between them, usually around a second. the anniversary edition was like the arcade in that their was barely any pause after parrying and when youd have to parry the next hit.Kooshkaboose
- When I did the current write-up, I read some reviews to see if there any major differences. Most of them didn't really mention it, just saying it had the same upgrades as the last Dreamcast version. If you can find a verifiable source that discusses this (an official site or professional review) that mentions these differences, then it should be mentioned. --SevereTireDamage 13:10, 29 July 2006 (UTC)

- says near perfect, just to put this out there, one of the worlds largest fighitng game tournaments, (evo, or evolution) didnt use the dreamcast version because it was much to different from the arcade versions,though they did use the verion in the anniversary edition (mainly because of the parrying thing i mentioned) i also recall reading previews about the game that capcom was going to try to make it as perfect as possible. i have played the arcade verion aswell, and see very little difference. - Don't misunderstand, it's not that I necessarily don't believe you, it's just that those kinds of facts need to be confirmed by reliable sources. The Gamepro article only says "near-perfect" without going into detail, as most reviews did. Please find a citation that specifically states the differences between the arcade, Dreamcast, and Anniversary versions.. --SevereTireDamage 04:01, 10 August 2006 (UTC)
