French Guiana

French Guiana is a French province in South America. The capital is Cayenne (pronounced: kay-yen).
There are gold mines and many trees.
66% of the people are is considered black or mulatto, 12% are white, 12% are East Indian, Chinese, Amerindian 12%, and 10% fall into other ethnic groups.
It is also the only country outside of Europe to belong to the European Union.
