Deathrock är en musikstil som uppstod ur 80-talsgothen men som inte bör förväxlas med horror rock. Främsta kännetecknet för deathrock är tung bas, slamrande trummor och texter om zombier, kistor och död, men även synthesizer-musik brukar förekomma.
