Tassadar is a hero unit in StarCraft. He is a Protoss High Templar with all technologies researched, as well as the attack that High Templar had removed from the normal StarCraft game, Psi Assault. Psi Assault is a short-range ground-only attack that deals normal damage.
Tassadar also pilots the Gantrithor, the Carrier hero unit.
The Archon hero unit is a named Tassadar/Zeratul, but Tassadar and Zeratul never merge in the StarCraft storyline.
