Thirupathi is a 2006 Tamil film directed by Perarasu. Perarasu has been known from other hit movies such as Thirupachi and Sivakasi. The movie stars Ajith and Sadha in the leading role. In this film the Ajith plays the role of a sound and microphone man. This film sees Ajith in yet another get up and with the new style of wearing a belt around his shirt collar. It has all the perfect ingredients of a typical masala film.

- This superhit film opened in 271 screens worldwide. It played for 15 weeks successfully. The film grossed amazing Rs.100 million in the very first week of release in Tamil Nadu. [1]
- The film's total gross is estimated at Rs.300 million thus matching earlier Ajith hit Villain released in 2002
