General elections will be held in Trinidad and Tobago before January 7, 2008, though it's considered likely that the election will be held in 2007.[1]
The five year term of the current adminstration ends on October 7th 2007, but the constitution allows a plus/minus three months to call the elections.
The current political belief is that the People's National Movement will win, due to a split in the opposition party. Unless the opposition parties united against the incumbent adminstration.
Predicted votes are PNM 45%, COP 10% and UNC 45%.
Predicted seats are PNM 22, COP 0, UNC 19
