Adelino André Vieira Freitas or otherwise known as Vieirinha. Vieirinha was born in Guimarães, Portugal on January 24, 1986. He currently plays for FC Porto where he got his first start against FC Barcelona in the inauguration of Estádio do Dragão.
Vieirinha currently plays anywhere on the midfield but prefers the right wing where he has drawn comparisons with Ricardo Quaresma, Luís Figo, Cristiano Ronaldo and Sérgio Conceição.
Prior to FC Porto he played for the B team of the club (reserve team).
He currently wears the number 17.
He played his first official game in the main FC Porto team against Vitória de Setúbal in the SuperCup Cândido de Oliveira, scoring the 3-0 goal and winning the first title of his career.
