William Gillies (Australian politician)

William Neil Gillies (1868-1928 was Premier of Queensland from 26 February to 22 October 1925 for the Australian Labor Party.The Gillies Highway in Far North Queensland was named after William Neil Gillies as he was the Queensland Minister for Transport at the time.
