[edit] European Union Olympic medals count for 2004
Hi there,
I wonder would you consider reversing your decision to delete this article. I have substantially rewritten it. A united EU team is not going to happen. I've discussed potential EU co-operation towards the olympics, and kept the table. I believe the table is valid, for us Europeans/EUians to see how the area has fared as a whole. Please comment on my talk page if you still feel the article should be deleted.

[edit] Ultras
I'm no expert (if you check the history you see I rewrote it), but I'll give it a check. Do you have any references? -- Mgm|(talk) 08:17, Oct 24, 2004 (UTC)
- most of the references were from talking with friends of mine while I was a Colectivo 95 member, a FC Porto group. For the history, I think the supertifo link at the bottom does a good job of telling the basics. Meanwhile, I'll open up the ultras talkpage to check what's missing. \ wolfenSilva / 10:44, 24 Oct 2004 (UTC)
[edit] GCOTW
I'm giving you this message because you have been active on Gaming Collaboration of the week in the past. The collaboration had a bit of a hiatus, but it's now active again. A new article will be chosen this Sunday. It would be greatly appreciated if you visited the page to vote and/or make new nominations and worked on next week's GCOTW. Thanks. --Slowking Man 08:14, Feb 4, 2005 (UTC)

Just wanted to let you know there is already a Lego Star Wars The Video Game page. But it doesn't use the colon like the one you made. Thunderbrand 03:07, Apr 13, 2005 (UTC)
[edit] commons:Image:OpenTTD-screenshot.png
Hi - please add a license tag to that screenshot (like GFDL or GPL or something). It's a screenshot of free software, so it's not going to be speedy-deleted, but the commons require a license tag for such screenshots (the game setup is your work after all, so you have a copyright to the image). Thanks -- commons:User:Duesentrieb 19:09, 28 Apr 2005 (UTC)

Oi Wolfensilva. Queria-te convidar a desenvolver os artigos sobre o Futebol Clube do Porto na wikipédia lusófona, pois estão muito pobres. Apesar de eu ser adepto, não percebo muito sobre futebol... fica aqui o convite! :) Um abraço, Nuno Tavares 17:11, 16 May 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Jedi Knight template
Hey, I noticed that the Template:Sw jediknight cvg template was aligned to the left, so I went ahead and fixed it. I just copied my Template:StarFox template and filled it in with the SW links. I think it's a little shorter than before, so I guess you can change it if so. Thunderbrand July 3, 2005 15:55 (UTC)
- No problem, I just widened it a bit and added a colspan=2 (otherwise, it would break the line below the image). What is weird is that the first displayed here without any problems. wS;✉ 3 July 2005 16:28 (UTC)
[edit] FMV game
[edit] Thank you for new article!
Thank you for writing Emperor: Rise of the Middle Kingdom! -- Sitearm | Talk 06:37, 2005 August 13 (UTC)
- No problem, I've been working on the City Building Series articles recently, after requesting it to be peer reviewed by the Wikipedia:WikiProject Computer and video games, now only missing Pharaoh (computer game), which I've never got into too much, so I placed up a request so all games have at least a stub (which I'm not very fond of creating, unless absolutely necessary). 06:49, 13 August 2005 (UTC) (also replied on his talk page)

- Most of them are scanned, except for one I've found on my old computer - however, as only the copyright owner holds permissions, I believe you can take them from any online retailer, company page or personal gallery, as long as they are the same (this rules out custom, modified, mock-up and promotional covers), there shouldn't be any problem. If you are meaning Pharaoh, I can only provide the box from Pharaoh Gold, but as the article should (ideally) deal with both game and expansion, it might do the trick as well. wS;✉ 23:20, 13 August 2005 (UTC)

[edit] City building series template
Nice! Would like to add Children of the Nile but not sure how you want the template organized... year? empire? -- Sitearm | Talk 13:08, 2005 August 19 (UTC)
Ok I went ahead and added it next to Pharaoh and Cleopatra. I shortened the Cleopatra label to keep it all on one line. -- Sitearm | Talk 00:04, 2005 August 20 (UTC)
- You make a good point if you consider "city building series" as meaning only certain publishers, but if you consider it as meaning certain developers, Cotn was developed by the same key people, especially Chris Beatrice. Take a look at City-building game - I just edited it and may be thinking in a different place than you right now :) It is a combination of both certain developers and publishers, I think. -- Sitearm | Talk 03:39, 2005 August 20 (UTC)

[edit] PNG Alpha Transparency in football kit patterns
Check out the discussion tab on Talk:Futebol_Clube_do_Porto, about the incompatibility of IE with 32bit RGBA PNG images which affects your body kit.
I hope you can fix it with your graphic designing expertise (seems simple though, as it is seems only a matter of resaving PNG images in 8 bit color depth, I guess).
I thought of trying to fix it myself, but these template might me trickier for a untrained contributors like me, as I might not have the right tools for image editing (with transparency), don't know if I would have to republish the fixed PNG in Template:Football_kit/pattern_list, etc.
If you could do it, Thanks! (Força PoOoOorto!!!) ;)
P.S. - I added Pedro Emanuel to your list of contributions (wasn't logged on but it was me anyway...)

- Thanks for letting me know, I usually check in IE, but I was very busy dealing with the new season stuff (not only in wikipedia). The new one seems good, but also took four tries before working (I guess the PNG importer in PSP7 isn't that sharp).
- Oh, I usually update my userpage every 50 edits or so, but hey, saves me workk next time ;) wS;✉ 07:20, 25 August 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Thank you.
You have done today what I wanted to do to the Quest for Glory article for many, many weeks. I was, to be perfectly honest, afraid to make the change. I've tried to wield the same axe over at The Star Wars Holiday Special, but with no luck. Let's hope we fare better at QFG. BrianSmithson 03:50, 9 September 2005 (UTC)
- It wasn't anything particulary special, that section went against a lot of style conventions and failed some guidelines with material that was unnecessary and was bloating the page above the suggested limit, so it really had to go. I'm still on part one of the edit, right now I'm starting the process of merging the two "character" sections and adding some about important NPCs (the kattas, ad avis, etc). Fell free to correct typos, grammar or factual inacuracies - it's often hard to track them after writting a large part of the text. wS;✉ 05:16, 9 September 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Tecmo Cup Football Game
I have removed the Soccer computer games category from the article, since Tecmo Cup Football Game is not a computer game. I hope you don't mind. LordViD 12:17, 11 November 2005 (UTC)
- While the cat is the right one, it should be "soccer computer and video games". I'll work on that in the next days. Thanks for reminding me of this wS;✉ 16:57, 11 November 2005 (UTC)
[edit] VG consoles
Yeah, sorry about forgetting the conversation. I've been known to do that :) The image looks fine, however, the random images might be a problem (i.e. some may see it as playing favorites). My suggestion is to use the GameCube, PS2, Xbox, and Dreamcast and in the image description say "video game consoles of the sixth generation era" or something to that effect. Or if you don't think it'll matter, then just use the image you made - I guess it's not that big of a deal. K1Bond007 19:16, 11 November 2005 (UTC)
- I'll look up into that, then. wS;✉ 12:06, 16 November 2005 (UTC)

I felt that that wasn't a good enough example of a shipwreck; it was only partially submerged and signs of wreckage didn't show.

[edit] Fair use images
You currently have a great deal of fair use images linked on your userpage. Under United States copyright law, these images do not qualify an fair use when posted there, so they are copyright violations. Please remove them- a good way to do this is to convert them to a list of image links. For example, Image.jpg would become :Image.jpg. Thanks! --Ryan Delaney talk 09:25, 16 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Fair use images
I notice that you have a lot of fair use images on your user page (according to this report, 177 of them). You should know that, in accordance with Wikipedia:Fair use#Fair use policy, you can't display these images on user pages. I suggest that you either remove them from your user page, or write the link like so: :Image:Somefile.jpg (note the colon at the front) so as to link to the image without displaying it. --bainer (talk) 01:10, 17 January 2006 (UTC)
- Seeing as you are not so active these days I just went ahead and listified the fair use images. I sampled a few photos and they where all your work so I've left those infact, if I missed a couple that where fair use those should be fixed too, but I don't feel like checking them all right now. --Sherool (talk) 16:11, 23 January 2006 (UTC)

Thanks for uploading Image:Dreamweb_Empire.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the source and creator of the image on the image's description page, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.

[edit] Orphaned fair use image (Image:Actua soccer 3 cover.jpg)
Thanks for uploading Image:Actua soccer 3 cover.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. [edit] Unspecified source for Image:Estadio antas.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Estadio antas.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, then you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, then their copyright should also be acknowledged.
As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the GFDL-self-no-disclaimers tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as article name or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 03:13, 23 February 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Chowbok ☠ 03:13, 23 February 2007 (UTC)
