[edit] Your report about Suhayl Saadi at Conflict of Interest Noticeboard
Please see the recent comment I added there. I believe the next step is for someone to carefully go through all the provided links to be sure they are legit. if you have other steps to suggest, you are welcome to add to the discussion at WP:COI/N. EdJohnston 00:38, 5 March 2007 (UTC)
YechielMan, I took this article under my wing—please let me know if you approve of the result. The COI/N discussion is in that noticeboard's Archive 4. — Athænara ✉ 08:06, 19 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Closing AfDs
You closed Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/De Viris Illustribus (Jerome) correctly as a speedy keep, but you also need to take the AfD notice off the article in question. Don't worry I tidied up after you ;) Have fun. --Steve (Slf67) talk 08:13, 12 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Shaare Zedek
Fair enough, I probably should've done a more extensive search before moving the article, I figured the creator just wasn't a Hebrew speaker and therefore used a wrong transliteration. Thanks for the correction, Yonatan talk 06:52, 18 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Rhode Island governors
I intend to add content to the articles. I thought it would be useful to add the template at least, so that people can click through the links from governor to governor, including me as I work on them. Logophile 20:58, 18 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Equalizer Cheat Code Cartridge
The article tells about the item, lists it's function, and tells how it compares and contrasts with other similar devises, some Wikipedians, just love to delete others work without them caring if it's there or not. Poor Wikipedians they need to remove the only reference that can be found online for this item. (Floppydog66 07:40, 21 March 2007 (UTC))

[edit] Re:Who is essjay (I read in the newspaper a bit about him), thats why I don't know much
Firstly may I know the coment made by him.
You only told that Essjay was one of the most outstanding users, an administrator and a checkuser. But Wikipedia has no right to interfare in his personal matters as long as he is not comenting on matters that may obstruct the unity of WP organisation or national integrity. If he was an outstanding user then why did jimmy asked him to resign. He was doing his job nicely. Thanks Sushant gupta 05:39, 22 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Transformers
You added a flag to a recent article I began on the Transformers movie prequel Ghosts of Yesterday. I believe that there does need to be a page on this, as it is a very important aspect to the Transformers universe. Please see Wikipedia:WikiProject Transformers for an example of how large the Transformers universe already is on wikipedia. As there is a page devoted completely to the comic book prequel to the movie (which is not even completed) I see no reason why there should not be a page for this new novel, especially since it was written by Alan Dean Foster, who is himself, a rather well known author. --EndrilRM 19:08, 25 March 2007 (UTC)

See "Teh". My uncommon usage of the article is on purpose. And also, sorry for whatever I did, I don't want any more trouble with jewish users, ok? --Teh Original Mr. Orange (Orange juice?) 03:26, 26 March 2007 (UTC)
What I mean by trouble with jewish users is this: [1] and this [2], not that jewish users give me trouble per se. I thought you were involved in the article "Settler colonialism" that brought me great trouble and harsh responses from jewish users. Since you are a jew, and I have been involved in a discussion today involving the Israeli-occupied territories and so forth, I thought you were addressing me because of that. I don't have problems with jews, and I don't want to have them, alright? --Teh Original Mr. Orange (Orange juice?) 03:35, 26 March 2007 (UTC)

Hey Yechiel, sure, I'll have a look, but I hope you don't mind if I do so tomorrow - I'm just about to pack up and log out of this place for the night(/early early morning). I promise to have a look, and if you don't get an answer back from me by this time tomorrow, slap me! Cheers, – Riana talk 17:55, 27 March 2007 (UTC)
- Hey again :) I read over your draft. I quite like the sound of your intentions, and your answers to the standard questions are strong. I would aim for a little more self-marketing in the nomination statement, though. For a lot of users, the tone of self noms is very important, and yours is just a tiny bit on the quiet, modest side. I'd go the whole hog and really brag about myself (which is why I didn't self nom, because I'd have nothing to talk about... ), no one minds a bit of assertiveness in the nom statement. Otherwise, it's all good. Let me know when it's live! :) Ask me if you have any more questions, and I'll try my best to answer them. Cheers, – Riana talk 05:21, 28 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] [Response to my request that User:Perversedork change his name]
Perverse: deffinition: From Microsoft Word dictionary:1)purposely deviating from what is accepted as good, proper, or reasonable
2)unreasonably stubborn, contrary, or awkward 3)willfully persisting in what is wrong 4)perverted
The Oxford Pocket Dictionary of Current English: per·verse / pərˈvərs/ • adj. (of a person or their actions) 1)showing a deliberate and obstinate desire to behave in a way that is unreasonable or unacceptable, often in spite of the consequence 2)contrary to the accepted or expected standard or practice: in two general elections the outcome was quite perverse. 3)Law (of a verdict) against the weight of evidence or the direction of the judge on a point of law. 4)sexually perverted.
there is more than one deffinition for a word, maybe you should not make assumptions about people. It bothers me that you would send me a message attacking my username when it is a very unimportant part of this website.
I use this username because it is my username for everything. i would rather just have one universal username than have to memorize a bunch of different ones and some of my old usernames are up to 4 years old, so i don't really feel like changing all of my usernames because people may have a problem with it. You are the first person who it has ever bothered... so i am sorry if you are bothered by it but you shouldn't judge someone by a name.

[edit] Stan Freberg Presents The United States of America Volume One The Early Years
Just letting you know that the PROD deletion of the above article has been reversed. The creator of the page is quite upset over it's deletion, and has been talking to the project info-desk to track down what happened. They finally directed him to me, the admin who processed the PROD, and he sent me an email asking for explanations. I have given him an explanation on his talk page, and undeleted the page as the PROD is definitely now contested. I figured you might want to also chime in on his talk page with an explanation of why it was PRODed in the first place. Be aware, this user is pretty much unaware of WP procedure and particularly of WP terminology and jargon. In his emails with the INFO desk he was getting particularly annoyed at a number of WP terms that we tend to take for granted. (I've defined a few for him in my response.) - TexasAndroid 19:56, 3 April 2007 (UTC)

- You said in my discussion page: "Some of your recent edits have been considered unhelpful or unconstructive and have been reverted or removed". I would like to know which recent edits are you talking about. I already know some edits about the Orinoco which have been reverted. Despite this, I am studying rivers from the Orinoco Basin since more than four decades and wrote several books and papers on the Orinoco Basin (not in English, but in Spanish). So, maybe I am wrong, but I need to know my errors. --Fev 00:49, 7 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] re:multiAfD's
Wow, thanks for the heads up. I knew there must be a way as I had seen it done but hadn't gone down the AfD page far enough. I stumble through the AfD process as it is, lots of steps and back and forth, although I'm learning some process tricks that make it easier. Blatant self-promotion seems to be viral and checking the edit hx of creators often leads to more related articles. Obviously I would only group them if they were connected by more than just the creator as in this instance.--killing sparrows 07:52, 8 April 2007 (UTC)
