The Greystone Heights neighborhood is a diverse mix of ages in a community which was constructed in the 1960's. [2]

Greystone Heights is nestled just north of 8th Street and applies the court system around Main Street, and continues with crescents until the northern border of 14th Street East. Preston Avenue is the western border and Greystone Heights extends as far east as Circle Drive.[3]

The Greystone Heights school combined with Dundurn School and were involved in the Brightwater Science and Environment program to explore the Brightwater Watershed.[7]

According to Wikimapia there was a drive in theatre located at the corner of 8th Street East and Preston Avenue until the development of the neighborhood in the 1960's[8] As well several streets, and crescents are named in honour of Canadian professors and Universities.

Being that the neighborhood of Greystone Heights is to the north of the 8th Street Arterial Commercial District, it is home to amenities such as Real Canadian Superstore, Winners, London Drugs, Staples and several other restaurants and stores.
