[edit] More Highshines socks
I'm running in circles trying to keep up with the latest Highshines incarnation -- do you have any suggestions? Thanks! -- ArglebargleIV 03:32, 15 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] RFC/discussion of article World War II
Hello, Jiang. As a prominent contributor to World War II, you may want to be aware that a request for comments has been filed about it. The RFC can be found by the article's name in this list, and the actual discussion can be found on Talk:World War II, in case you wish to participate. Thank you for your contributions. -- Krellis 01:18, 18 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Taiwanese American
Do you mind helping me restore my edit on this page? Jumping Cheese and Certified Gangster seem to insist on reverting my edit despite the citation provided, yet insist on keeping their own edits despite their inability and unwillingness to provide one. It seems by both reverting, they're trying to lure me into tripping the 3RR instead of actually trying to seriously debate or justify their edits.--Yuje 00:58, 2 March 2007 (UTC)
Jiang, I made a comment on the talk page, could you take a look and help out. Wenzi 03:38, 2 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Taiwan-ROC mass moves
Hi. Any thoughts about Ideogram's mass moves of ROC to Taiwan-titled entires? Best, El_C 18:59, 19 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Mayor of Taipei
Hello! Could you please try to find the other 3 names that are still written in Chinese in the article asap so it doesn't get listed back on WP:PNT? A couple of other issues: 1) the Thomas Huang link on that page is probably not the same Thomas Huang that was mayor of Taipei and 2) there are a lot of dangling brackets and parentheses in the list; can you fix those, too, please? Thanks! -Yupik 16:00, 25 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Taiwan legal status
Hello, I put up some suggestions on Taiwan legal status, would you please take a look? Some things need to be changed about MacArthur General Order No.1. Give me some feedback, see if you can make some changes, I can't do it. I just joined Wiki. Thanks. Redcloud822 16:05, 27 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Mayor of Beijing
Hi Jiang. Kudos for the list of governors. The only bad thing is that it doesn't contain the CPC Committee Secretary list, which is the first-in-charge of any region. Is there a chance you could find something like that? Colipon+(T) 05:42, 28 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Unspecified source for Image:Oil_well_firess.gif
Thanks for uploading Image:Oil_well_firess.gif. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, then you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, then their copyright should also be acknowledged.
As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self-no-disclaimers}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{fairusein|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 08:37, 28 March 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Yonatan talk 08:37, 28 March 2007 (UTC)

- Hey, you need a more specific source rather than just a whole domain. Thanks, Yonatan talk 02:18, 30 March 2007 (UTC)
- I was actually looking through that website looking for your images and couldn't find them. I'm an admin on commons and I wanted to move them there (a copy of them is on the hebrew wikipedia) which is how I found them but they will be deleted from commons if I upload them and don't provide a source. [edit] Taiwanese People
Jiang,
Thanks for the contribution. I appreciate your years of hard work on Wiki. I think you are the first wikipedian I encountered in 2003. I reverted your edit for the time being until we can determine how to proceed on the Taiwanese People page. See the discussion page for details on the current impasse. We'd appreciate your input.Maowang 02:01, 2 April 2007 (UTC)
- What Maowang said. :-) --Ling.Nut 02:34, 2 April 2007 (UTC)
The GIO has changed its tune to include 60 ethnic minorities and a Han majority. I wonder who they are? Anyone know? It could be an ambiguous reference to China's 56 "minzu" or it might be a nod to multiculturalism. Maowang 03:28, 2 April 2007 (UTC)
