Black Metal è il secondo album in studio della band inglese black metal Venom. Il disco è stato registrato e rilsciato nel 1982 ed è considerato, sia uno dei più importanti dei Venom (se non il più importante) ma anche l'album (assieme a Reign in Blood degli Slayer) che ha ispirato il movimento extreme metal degli anni successivi, portando alla nascita di nuovi generi musicali, come il black metal; però anche se il disco riporta questo nome non si puo' considerare black, ma più heavy e thrash
