Natus est Anno Salutis M CCCC LIX [1459] Die Marcii IX [9] Vixit Annos LIX [59] Menses IX [9] Dies XXV [25] Decessit Vero Anno MDXIX [1519] Mensis Iannuarii Die XII [12] Quem Deus Opt[imus] Max[imus] In Numerum Vivencium Referre Velit."

Translation: (please feel free to improve) " The most powerful and unconquered Emperor Maximilian who surpassed all kings and princes of his time in justice, wisdom, generosity, tolerance but especially in artial glory and bravery. He was born in the year of Salvation 1459, the 9th of March. He lived 59 years and 9 months, 25 days, and passed away 1519, January 12th. May God the Highest and Greatest count him among the number of the living (i.e. resurrected?)"
