Paranthropus aethiopicus (wcześniej Australopithecus aethiopicus) - przedstawiciel australopiteków masywnych. Znalezione szczątki szacowane są na około. 2,5 mln lat.
Najlepiej zachowaną skamieniałością P. aethiopicus jest tzw. "czarna czaszka" znaleziona w północnej Kenii.
