Rząd światowy to koncepcja, zakładająca stworzenie ciała politycznego które stanowiłoby i wdrażało prawo międzynarodowe. Mimo że ciało takie mogłoby mieć np. formę dyktatury, cesarstwa, czy teokracji, obecnie uznaje się, że jedyną zdolną do realizacji formą jest demokratyczna federacja istniejących krajów.
Główną zaletą ustanowienia rządu światowego jest to, że wyeliminowałby on konieczność krwawych konfliktów wojennych. Koncepcja ta promowana była m.in. przez cesarza Haile Selassie I.
