96.6 TFM is a Thornaby-on-Tees based Independent Local Radio station. Launched in June 1975 as Radio Tees, with the callsign "You've got a friend on 257" it was the first independent local radio station serving the area of Cleveland with parts of North Yorkshire and County Durham. For a short time it was part of the Newcastle-upon-Tyne based Metro Radio Group, before it was taken over by EMAP. After Metro was taken over, TFM was demerged and integrated into EMAP's Big City Network, along with Metro Radio.

Wayne Allen on midmornings , kicking off with the Top 10 @ 10 Mon - Fri 10am-2pm Sat 7pm-10pm Sun 1pm-4pm
Antony Collins on afternoons/drive Mon-Fri 2pm-6pm Sat 10am-12pm
Patrick on evenings (Soon to be replaced by a networked evening show) Sun-Fri 6pm-10pm
Gary Phillipson's Late Night Zoo, the late night phone in with the Loveslug answering the phones Sun-Thurs 10pm- 1am
David Easson with Soccer Saturday Sat 12pm-2pm
Jeff Winter's Football Phone In every Saturday Sat 5:30pm-7pm
Nick Jordan with Game On Sat 2pm-5:30pm
Becky Saif on weekend breakfast Sat,Sun 6am-10am
Stu Smith on Sunday Mornings Sun 10am-1pm
Richard Kell on weekend overnights Fri, Sat 10pm- 6am
TFM also airs the Vodaphone live Hour and Hit 40 UK
