Abjects is an unmoderated, mid-sized Internet Relay Chat Network. It was originally founded as Criten IRC Network November 9, 2000, and closed in February of 2003 due to vast problems. Criten was re-opened again on November 23, 2003, and grew in popularity over the following three years. Then on November 12, 2006 was closed and re-opened as The Abjects IRC Network by the late administration of Criten.
Abjects' servers use a customized IRCd based on UltimateIRCd. Many features have been added and changed for both functionality and security. Supported ports include 6665-6669, 7000, 9000 and 9999 (SSL).

[edit] Services
The Abjects Network employs anope1.6 based services, with many customizations and add ons.
[edit] NickServ
NickServ facilitates registration of users' nickname, so that when returning to the network, they can regain their nickname without question.
[edit] ChanServ
Chanserv allows users to register your channel with the network so that others cannot takeover their channel. It also allows for complete control of access levels for individual users in the channel.
[edit] HostServ
HostServ stores fake vhost for users as requested. This serves as both a vanity service and method of completely hiding users' real host/ip. Registered users can request a vhost with the command /hs request
[edit] MemoServ
MemoServ can be used to send a memo from one registered user to another whether the recipient is online or not.
[edit] BotServ
BotServ is used to create custom services clients to act as channel bots in registered channels. These "bots" are not actual drone or bot clients, rather they are pseudo-clients introduced by services to act as an extension of chanserv. Abjects IRC Network has a request system for BotServ, coded by a member of their administration, which allows a user to request a botserv bot with the command /bs request.
