From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Alberta provincial highway 14 is an East-West highway through central Alberta. It spans from the Alberta-Saskatchewan border to the city of Edmonton. Located south of Highway 16, it runs parallel to it.
Within Alberta, it passes through Wainwright, Fabyan, Irma, Kinsella, Viking, Bruce, Holden, Poe, Ryley, Tofield, South Cooking Lake, and the outskirts of Sherwood Park.
Along with Saskatchewan Highway 40 (with which it connects at the boundary), it forms part of the Poundmaker Trail, named after Chief Poundmaker of the Cree.
