Alberta provincial highway 49

Alberta provincial highway 49 is a short highway located in north western Alberta running north-south from the town of Valleyview to the village of Donnely, then east-west to the British Columbia border, where it is continued by BC Highway 49 to the town of Dawson Creek. In Alberta it has a total length of 266km.

- Intersects Highway 43 at Valleyview
- runs south to north to Donnely, where it intersects Highway 2
- turns west, and intersects Highway 2 again in Rycroft
- continues west to the British Columbia border
