Cindy Chandler is a recurring fictional character on the ABC television series Lost played by Kimberley Joseph. A flight attendant aboard Oceanic Flight 815, Cindy survived the crash with the tail-section survivors.

Cindy was in a relationship with one of the passengers, the novelist Gary Troup, as described in the foreword to his latest book, Bad Twin. He even gave her a cameo role in the novel, as a stewardess on an Oceanic flight from Los Angeles to Sydney. They both boarded the plane but ended separated. Gary was the man who would end up in the turbine.

Cindy was a flight attendant on Oceanic Flight 815 appearing in flashbacks for both Jack Shephard and Charlie Pace. She flirts with Jack on the plane whilst serving drinks from the trolley, even giving him some extra vodka bottles. She along with JD and another male flight crew member name Hunter chase Charlie to the restroom prior to the crash. Upon the heavy turbulence, Cindy uses the intercom to instruct all the passengers to fasten their seatbelts.

She lands with the tail section survivors, and she is seen swimming out of the sea after the tail end of the plane plummets into the ocean, alongside the other survivors. After the crash, Cindy helps care for the children and seemed to be a more prominent member of the group. She confirms that Flight 815 was flying off course before the crash. Cindy copes generally well in the aftermath of the crash, and follows Ana Lucia's orders. When Nathan is suspected of being an "Other", Cindy claims to have good memory of the passengers' faces but does not remember Nathan. Of the 23 tail section survivors, Cindy is one of only five not to have been killed or taken by "The Others" before encountering Jin, Michael, and Sawyer. She casts no doubt on Goodwin's having been on the plane, nor does she recognize Jin, Michael, or Sawyer. During the journey back to the mid-section survivors' camp, she mysteriously disappears while the other surviving passengers are on the run.

When Cindy disappears, whispers can be heard in the jungle, the same whispers that other characters have heard repeatedly throughout the series. In "Stranger in a Strange Land", Cindy and the abducted tail-section survivors are seen talking to Jack, who is in a cage surrounded by who appears to be Others. He asks her how she ended up with the Others and she tells him that 'it's not that simple.' When Jack asks her what she is doing there, she tells him she is there to watch. When she is prompted by Emma to ask about Ana Lucia, Jack becomes angry and tells her to leave.

• Cindy is the only member of flight 815's crew who survived the crash (The pilot survived, however, he was killed later the same day of the crash by the monster)
• On the Other's second attack on their group, Ana-Lucia killed an Other. She was probably there to pick Cindy but that delayed her capture.
• There is no plausible reason Cindy would have ended up in the water after the crash as she was on the emergency phone in the front of the plane when it happened.
• Cindy was supposed to be the crew member at whose body Shannon cried in the Pilot. This was scrapped when the writers needed a crew member to tell the tailies they were flying off course before the crash. They chose to allow Cindy to be the crew member.
• Cindy has a "Rambo" style hairdo during her season 2 episodes as the actress that plays Cindy, Kimberley Joseph, had cut her hair between the two seasons and this was the only way she found to hide it.
