Samuel Langhorne Clemens (født 30. november 1835, død 21. april 1910), bedre kendt under sit litterære pseudonym Mark Twain, var en berømt og populær amerikansk humorist, forfatter og forelæser. Af selveste Ernest Hemingway er Mark Twain blevet betegnet som grundlægger af den amerikanske litteratur.
