Mark Twain

Samuel Langhorne Clemens (født 30. november 1835, død 21. april 1910), bedre kjent under sitt litterære psevdonym Mark Twain, var en berømt og populær amerikansk humorist, forfatter og foreleser. Av selveste Ernest Hemingway har Mark Twain blitt betegnet som han som startet den amerikanske litteraturen.
