Faros del Panamá
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Faros del Panamá (Lighthouses of Panamá in English) skyscraper complex contains the Torre Central (Central Tower). The Torre Central is a 95 floor building with a planned height of 346 metres (1,135 feet) that is currently under construction in Panama City, Panama. It was designed by architect Chapman Taylor. Its completion is expected for 2010. Like its name states, the tower is in the middle of the three tower complex Faros de Panamá. The tower will be the tallest of the three, rising from a common podium with the other two towers. All three buildings of the complex will be completed in 2010. Two simliar, smaller towers, Torre Oeste (West Tower) on the west and Torre Este (East Tower) on the east will accompany the Torre Central. Despite being small compared to the Torre Central, the East and West Tower still will be 290 m (951 feet) tall and have 73 floors. Once completed, the three buildings will be the some of the tallest in Central America.
