He's Your Dog, Charlie Brown

He's Your Dog, Charlie Brown is one of many prime-time animated TV specials based upon the popular comic strip Peanuts, by Charles M. Schulz. It was originally aired on the CBS network in 1968.
Snoopy is sent back to the Daisy Hill Puppy Farm for obedience training, but he instead goes to Peppermint Patty's house to stay, and remains more than the one night he was supposed to stay, living in the lap of luxury. Patty calls Charlie Brown, who's shocked and hurries over to reclaim the dog.
Snoopy refuses to come home, so Charlie Brown is forced to take Snoopy home on a leash. Snoopy pretends he's choking, then escapes the distracted master, and runs back to Peppermint Patty's to stay for good. She's no-nonsense now and puts Snoopy to work as a domestic laborer.
Days go by, and Charlie Brown's friends miss Snoopy, and are willing to have him back, just as he is.
When Snoopy rebels, Peppermint Patty banishes him to the garage. He escapes and hurries home, having found that life at Charlie Brown's house is a better option. The next day, Snoopy reintroduces himself to the neighbourhood with the mischief that got him exiled weeks earlier, and there is relief at Snoopy's return.
This is the last "PEANUTS" special where the majority of the original cast members worked on.
