It's a Mystery, Charlie Brown

It's a Mystery, Charlie Brown is one of many prime-time animated TV specials based upon the popular comic strip Peanuts, by Charles M. Schulz. It was originally aired on the CBS network in 1974.
Sally Brown is facing a problem: she has nothing for a science exhibit. She isn't the only person facing a problem, because Woodstock's brand new nest has disappeared. He consults Snoopy, who, in the guise of Sherlock Holmes, goes on a hunt for the nest. They investigate the homes of Lucy and Linus (who speaks strangely in rhyming couplets), Marcie, Pig-Pen, and Peppermint Patty (who thinks that Snoopy is playing Cops and Robbers and terrifies him when she leaps at him declaring that it's his money or his life), before arriving at the school, where the nest is labelled as a "prehistoric bird nest." Snoopy and Woodstock take the nest back, but Sally is furious that her science exhibit was stolen. To settle the matter, they go to Lucy, whose psychiatric assistance booth is temporarily converted to a courtroom (the fee also changed from 5 cents to 7 cents). Lucy finds that, as Woodstock made the nest, he should keep it. Sally is outraged, but she and Snoopy come to a compromise when he agrees to be her science exhibit in a recreation of Pavlov's dog experiment.
