List of Northern Irish people
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
List of Northern Irish people is a list of notable people from Northern Ireland.
It also covers:
- people of Northern Irish descent
- people born in Northern Ireland who have since become nationals of other countries
- people born outside Northern Ireland and later settled there
- people who are descended from Ulster people and Scots-Irish and whose ancestors come from the region that is now Northern Ireland before 1922
People born in Northern Ireland regard themselves as British, Irish, from Ulster/Northern Irish or both British and Irish to varying degrees. There is no province-wide consensus as to what the term "Irish" means.
