IMDb profile |
Meg is the title of an unproduced screenplay, currently in development hell. The screenplay is based on the novel Meg by Steve Alten. New Line Cinema paid mid-six against seven figures to put out of turnaround from Disney. The rights to the novel were first acquired by Disney in 1997 for approximately $1 million. New Line Cinema, known for the The Lord of the Rings trilogy, is currently expected to produce and distribute if the film is greenlit. Shane Salerno is currently writing another draft of the script. Jan De Bont is attached as director.
