Miss World 2000

The 50th Miss World pageant was held on the 30th of November 2000 at the Millenium Dome in London, England. The 2000 pageant also marked the first Miss World pageant since the death of Eric Morely. His widow Julia, took over. The pageant's swimsuit segment was filmed in Maldives. The 2000 pageant also had the biggest number of participant with 95 contestants, that number was surpassed in 2003.
