I heard someone say that this is a racist game. You are a like a white 'plant'ation owner and are using the native, colored, people to do your work. They say that pikmin are just blacks, slaves, and Olmar is the slave driver.

But in one of the logs on pikmin olimar wondered if the pikmin were just using him so they could get higher on the food chain. Pikmin was developed by Asians not whites so it would be highly rare that this is a case of rascism.

What does that mean?

It means that you first choose the Pikmin needed to accomplish the tasks, and then you excecute those tasks. - Zorio 21:17, 17 January 2007 (UTC)

I proposed this article for deletion but the tag was taken down. I was wondering if anyone here can prove that this topic is article-worthy and, if so, to improve it. Otherwise I'll put it up for deletion. —EdGl 23:15, 30 June 2006 (UTC)

Feel free. I've appointed myself captain of Pikmin articles, and I don't want to keep this one free of cruft. I have my hands full enough with the articles we have, especially Enemies of Pikmin. I don't think this one's notable enough, though. The only reason I created the enemies of Pikmin article is because almost every week, someone would make another article on Bulborbs or Snavians or Snitchbugs, and each of these articles was of low quality and little content, so I unified them into a more list-like arrangement like we have now. However, to date, this is the only time someone has created an article on Pikmin treasures. Since I've had to revert the Enemies article about 100 times between when I created it and now, I would conclude that this info is in much less demand and is therefore not notable. Feel free to nominate it for deletion. However, please tell me if you do so, so I can monitor the process. If it's kept, I guess I'll have to add it to the list of Pikmin articles I have to watch. Sure thing. Unfortunately, this guy is putting a lot of work into this article, and I would hate to see it go to waste. Stuff like this makes me less of a deletionist. :-) I'm not a gung-ho deletionist. Maybe I'll wait until another deletionist comes across this article. —EdGl 15:49, 4 July 2006 (UTC)
