Harare is the capital of Zimbabwe. It is home to over one million people.
It started as Salisbury in 1890, and was known by that name until April 18th, 1982.
It now has a population of over 2 million people. Large metropolitan city with a good transport network it is situated in the Mashonaland east district of Zimbabwe and is at the centre of southern Africa.
