[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:Currency.pdf
Thanks for uploading Image:Currency.pdf. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).
The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images on Wikipedia is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: TemplateName
.
Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator. You can get help on image copyright tagging from Wikipedia talk:Image copyright tags. --OrphanBot 04:37, 22 January 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Concerning your signature
I'd recommend you simplify your signature, so that users editing a page won't have to sift through all the characters to find what they're looking for. I would say to remove all the seperate talk and user page links, and make them two or three at most. I think voters would appreciate it. But of course, it's all your choice, and you will do what you will. --Tewy 23:37, 6 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Thank you
- Hello Tennis Dynamite. Thank you for adding your new signature to My Autograph Book. It looks very nice, and your comment was very fitting too. Thanks again. | AndonicO Talk 10:08, 9 November 2006 (UTC)
- Your welcome. Tennis DyNamiTe 20:53, 9 November 2006 (UTC)
- Why, of course you can copy anything from my userpage. Take whatever you need/like. The only problem with the signature subpage, is :people rarely sign. I'm sorry about the practical joke; at the top of my talk page, I left a message that goes like this:
- I just thought it worth mentioning that I often fall victim to my own joke. If you don't know what I'm referring to, you will soon. :-)
- It's what you call a two-edged sword. Thank you, sorry, and yes you can take my subpage. | AndonicO Talk 11:30, 10 November 2006 (UTC)
- Hello again Tennis Dynamite. I left my signature in your autograph book (I feel important now), but I noticed you don't have a link to it on your userpage. I've also incorperated your evil err, nice, plan. The first time I saw that practical joke, I thought someone had vandalized my talk page; when I clicked "edit" on Reywas92's userpage, I realized I had been fooled. | AndonicO Talk 23:15, 10 November 2006 (UTC)
- Oh, I just noticed Reywas changed the location of his practical joke from his user page, to his talk page. By the way, I was "inspired" to make the autograph book by another user, who had +35,000 edits. He didn't call it "autograph book" though. I'll keep an eye out for more people with places where you can sign. | AndonicO Talk 23:20, 10 November 2006 (UTC)
- Oh, and you've still not added a link to your subpage on your userpage. The only way to get there is by typing it into the search box, or entering thru either my subpage, or my talk page. | AndonicO Talk 10:26, 11 November 2006 (UTC)
- The revalation has reaveled itself, and what a reaveled revelation it is. I'll do that too soon. | AndonicO Talk 15:50, 11 November 2006 (UTC)
- The revalation (the signature) has reaveled itself (you have signed with it), and what a revealed (signed) revalation (signature) it is. See, easy (when you wrote it). By the way, I added your "noble" plan to my signature. I really meant evil, but I didn't want anyone else to find out. SHHH! | AndonicO Talk | Sign Here 10:27, 12 November 2006 (UTC)

- Hello again Tennis Dynamite. I wanted to ask you if you would like to add your name (or if I should add it) here. It would be an honor to have you add your username. [edit] Signature
Would you consider making your sig a bit shorter? It takes up more space than many comments in code. The signature guidelines advise on signatures that aren't too long, and I think yours might be seen to need a little trim, because it takes up six lines in an average-sized edit box. You can actually achieve the same effect with a lot less code. This is your current sig:
<span style="font-family: Comic Sans MS; font-size: 12pt;color: red">T</span><span style="font-family: Comic Sans MS; font-size: 12pt;color: green">ennis Dy</span><span style="font-family: Comic Sans MS; font-size: 12pt;color: red">N</span><span style="font-family: Comic Sans MS; font-size: 12pt;color: green">ami</span><span style="font-family: Comic Sans MS; font-size: 12pt;color: red">T</span><span style="font-family: Comic Sans MS; font-size: 12pt;color: green">e</span> (sign in)
Which gives this: Tennis DyNamiTe (sign in)
But you can put the font-family and font-size attributes in one section at the beginning, meaning you don't have to have so much code. Or for a real cut-down: Tennis DyNamiTe (sign in)
That gives a very similar (but not so pre-school) look, and uses a lot less code. Seeya around. —Vanderdecken∴ ∫ξφ 10:54, 17 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] The secret...
- Hello again Tennis Dynamite. You say you want the secret of the popups, and the secret of the popups you shall have! Read this article, and you will understand. There is only one problem with that tool: while it's great for reverting vandalism, it's very annoying when viewing your watchlist. The good outweighs the bad; good luck. | AndonicO Talk | Sign Here 11:59, 22 November 2006 (UTC)
- If you have your mouse pointer over "diff", or a previous version, you select "actions". If you are looking at a diff or a previous version, then you will see "revert". When you click that, then popups will automatically save the version before (if it's a diff), or the version you have selected (if it's in history). The edit summary it provides is the one you mentioned (reverted to revision... using popups). If you have any problems, you can always ask me. Good luck. | AndonicO Talk | Sign Here 16:42, 22 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Signature
Hi Tennis!
Would you mind radically scaling back your signature? I checked out an edit you made to a talk page on my watchlist recently. Your edit was 81 characters. Your signature was 385, even without the automatically added date. At that length, your signature is disruptive to the talk pages you edit - it has a signal-to-noise ratio of about 1:5 in just one edit.
Thanks. ➨ ЯEDVERS 20:18, 30 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Assessment
It's something any project can use. you'll need to update the project directory at WP:1.0 to show that your project uses assessment.. im not sure if this is what tips mathbot off, you might have to contact User:Mathbot to let him know to update your project. I'd suggest copying code from the WP Houston Template and replacing the Word Houston with Idol or whatever your project name is. There's also a process of creating a place for Mathbot to add lists.. typically Wikipedia:WikiProject xyz/Assessment. There's also the process of creating categories and things like that.. I'd take a look at the coding and all the interlinks and start copying and modifying them.. before you know it the system will be working for you.
If you don't think you can handle it I will do the entire process for you.. but I'd suggest trying it. If you aren't sure you've set things up correctly just contact me again and I'll look over all the categories, templates, etc for you. drumguy8800 C T 05:29, 6 December 2006 (UTC)

Hi Tennis! Look at this wierd edit summary at Donald Trump. I reverted using popups, but this is what it used as an edit summary: "Revert to revision $1 dated $2 by $3 using popups". [edit] Autographs
Hello {TD}
I'm not terribly good with being diplomatic, so I'm just going to blurt out my concerns without any window dressing. If I offend you or sound rude or curt... well it's probably because I am, but not because I mean to be.
Let me first say I'm a serial userspace abuser. My plethora of pages on poems is useless in some sense, and triple-transcluded just-to-increase-server-load as well. Some people really really hate this sort of stuff, since we're here for the encyclopedia not the social buzz. But ignoring "community" elements to Wikipedia flies in the face of studies byStanford-poster-child B. J. Fogg that tie the sucess of sites such as Flickr and MySpace to quasi-random positive feedback for actions that improve the site. Focus on that last bit: Improve the site. My insult collection is a silly combination of barstars, trout-slaps, and wiki-love. But when I do something outré someone lets me know, and the random display function makes sure I don't forget.
The autograph books are a different kettle of fish. There are a overtly facile manner in which to interact, have no foundation in improving the encyclopedia, and are a quasi-viral meme that's going to grow rapidly in some sectors if not nipped in the bud. It is terribly easy to make and participate in the "get lots of signatures" race, which has two immediate results: 1) Re-enforcement for placing ever-larger numbers of sigs in other people's books to get them to sign yours, and B) Ever-greater dilution of the value of an individual signature. In very short order the "fun-nes" of this will be killed off by its own success, but the practice will probably stagger on, replicating itself in neophytes for ages.
If I asked you to request deletion of your autograph page via db would you consider it? I'll even be your wiki-slave and clean up and add references to one article of your choice in exchange.
I know this is a mostly harmless activity. I know the costs in disc space and bandwidth are infinitesimal. I know this seems like an odd request. And please don't think I've a fetish against groovy signatures or anything. (My current one is fairly plain but that's just because I'm feeling very black skivvy right now.) I'd just like to see this energy diverted somewhere else.

pps: to get an image to link, like you need to have a thing like this: (Click:<I can't remeber> just see my page.

[edit] Hi TD!
<insert header text here> :-) Things are going quite well for me. I just wrote an A-class article (Rise and Fall: Civilizations at War), and I'm going to try to feature it. Then there's the bad side... Talk:Muhammad/Mediation. I signed up as mediator (because pthe old one quit), but I didn't notice this was the hardest case there was. :-| Those two things are taking up most of my time, so I haven't checked into WP:SSP, which I've wanted to do for a while now. How about you? · AndonicO Talk 11:25, 20 February 2007 (UTC)
- Oh, and I removed the link to my sig book from my sig because A: it was getting too long, and B: my sig book already had a prominent position on my page. · AndonicO Talk 11:27, 20 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] User:Tennis Dynamite/autograph books
I think you should delete that list. To quote the MfD (which ended with keep most, delete some) "lists of signature pages are a step in the wrong direction and should be deleted". The easiest way to do it would be with the db-user or db-author tags, but it's really your choice whether to delete or not; I doubt they'd do another MfD for it if you don't. :-) · AO Talk 01:09, 13 March 2007 (UTC)
