Waterloo is ABBA's second album, originally released March 4, 1974 (see 1974 in music) in Sweden. It became the band's breakthrough success in the United States, where it was the first release by the group. "Waterloo" was the song that won ABBA the 1974 Eurovision Song Contest. Waterloo was reissued in digitally remastered form three times; first in 1997, then in 2001 and again in 2005 as part of The Complete Studio Recordings box set. It was also released as a special 30th Anniversay edition in 2004 celebrating 30 years since winning the 1974 Eurovision Song Contest
