Each week a Quebec Collaboration of the Week will be picked using this page. This is a Quebec-related topic which either has no article or a basic stub page, the aim being to have a decent (i.e. Unstubbed and fairly comprehensive) article by the end of the week, from widespread cooperative editing.

People listed there have committed themselves to the collaboration, and accepts to be told each time a new collaboration is selected.
[edit] Selecting the next Collaboration of the Week
[edit] Voting
- Please limit your vote to no more than one or two at any given time. Being so few, we can't afford to have everybody vote for each nomination.
- Only registered users should vote.
- To enter your votes, simply edit the appropriate sections by just inserting a new line with "# ~~~~". This will add your username and a time stamp in a new numbered list item.
- A vote will be taken to include a pledge that the voter will contribute to the article if it is selected. Voters will be reminded with {{QCOTW reminder}}, which looks like
[edit] Reminder: {{{article}}}
{{{article}}}, an article you have voted on, has been chosen as Quebec Collaboration of the Week.
- Please add only support votes. Opposing votes will not affect the result, as the winner is simply the one with the most support votes (see Approval voting).
[edit] Tie-breakers
- In case of a tie, the candidate that was nominated first wins.
[edit] Nominations
- New nominations can be made at any time and should be added at the end of this page. Please use the template at the bottom of this page.
[edit] Considerations for nominations
- Please only nominate articles that do not exist, are stubs (2 paragraphs or less than 1000 characters) or simply way too short to ever be considered comprehensive.
- You can also nominate an article from the French Wikipedia for translation instead.
- Please give your reason for nominating the article.
[edit] Pruning
- The nomination will be moved to /Removed if it has not received 2 votes (not including the nominator) after 7 days on the list, 4 votes after 14 days, 6 votes after 21 days, and so on, or it has not been choosed for 3 consecutive weeks.
[edit] Candidates for next week
If an article wins, please add {{QCOTWnow}} to the top of the article, which will show up as:
This article is the current Quebec Collaboration of the Week. Help us make it a decent article!

- User:Red Star I'm not old enough to have watched it a lot, but I remember the beginning scared me when I was very young.
- What was it that scared you ?--Marc pasquin 02:38, 17 Jun 2005 (UTC)
- Nothing in particular I think, or maybe it was the music.
Comments:
- A whole generation (actually, my generation) grew up with this childrem program, a major (if odd) element of quebec culture comparable to English Sesame Street. Circeus 19:20, Apr 17, 2005 (UTC)
I've put some of what I could remember (from 25 years ago). Check and see if you can confirm, contradict or embellish anything.--Marc pasquin 02:38, 17 Jun 2005 (UTC)

- About time we get down to this one. Circeus 01:52, Apr 27, 2005 (UTC)
- Before we get to popular culture and recent historical happenings, I think it would be good to write down the critically important aspects of our history. The history of Quebec City would be a great start, with a lot of potential if we put enough effort. We also have enough material to make it a featured article if we really want. Comments:
- I've tried to get this article started, but as most of the resources I found are in french (in which I have little proficiency), and given that I'm nowhere near Quebec, it might be helpful if some Quebec based editors took a stab at improving it. Fluit 01:30, 27 April 2006 (UTC)
