The Seven Wonders of the World (or the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World) is a widely-known list of seven great buildings or structures from the classical time period.

- Great Pyramid of Giza (Egyptians)
- Hanging Gardens of Babylon (Babylonians)
- Statue of Zeus at Olympia (Greeks)
- Temple of Artemis at Ephesus (Greeks)
- Mausoleum of Maussollos at Halicarnassus (Persians)
- Colossus of Rhodes (Greeks)
- Lighthouse of Alexandria (Greeks)
Out of those structures only the Great Pyramid still exists in the 21st century.

The Seven Wonders of the Modern World were decided by the American Society of Civil Engineers.
They are:
- Channel Tunnel (England & France)
- CN Tower (Toronto)
- Empire State Building (New York)
- Golden Gate Bridge (San Francisco)
- Itaipu Dam (Brazil/Paraguay)
- Netherlands North Sea Protection Works (Netherlands)
- Panama Canal (Panama)
