This is a list of members of the Australian House of Representatives from 1998 to 2001, as elected at the 1998 election:
- 1 ALP member Gareth Evans resigned on September 30, 1999; ALP candidate Anthony Byrne won the resulting by-election on November 6.
- 2 ALP member Greg Wilton died on June 13, 2000; ALP candidate Ann Corcoran won the resulting by-election on August 12.
- 3 Andrew Theophanous resigned from the ALP on October 18, 2000, and served out the remainder of his term as an independent.
- 4 Liberal member John Moore resigned on February 5, 2001; ALP candidate Leonie Short won the resulting by-election on March 17.
- 5 Liberal member Peter Nugent died on April 24, 2001; Liberal candidate Chris Pearce won the resulting by-election on July 14.
