Michael Fedele, a Republican, is Connecticut's 107th lieutenant governor. A native of Minturno Italy, Fedele represented Stamford's 147th District in the state house of representatives from 1992 until 2002. He ran unsuccessfully for the Connecticut Senate that year, losing narrowly to Democrat Andrew J. McDonald. Fedele attended Fairfield University and Norwalk State Technical College. He founded and operated the Pinnacle Group, an IT firm in Connecticut. He has raised three children with his wife Carol.
