John Steinbeck

John Steinbeck (27 de fevereiro de 1902, Salinas, Califórnia – 20 de dezembro de 1968, Nova Iorque) foi um escritor estadunidense. As suas obras principais são A Leste do Paraíso (East of Eden, 1952) e As Vinhas da Ira (The Grapes of Wrath, 1939). Foi membro, quando jovem, da Ordem DeMolay.
