Shoppers World Danforth

Shoppers World Danforth is a hybrid shopping plaza and shopping mall in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It has 40 stores serving parts of East York, Scarborough and The Beaches, near the Victoria Park subway station. It is, approximately, a ten minute walk south from Dawes Road and Victoria Park Avenue.
When it opened in 1962 on the site of a former aircraft factory, the mall contained one of the first suburban locations of the venerable Eaton's department store and its retail trade area was regional in scope. Today, the mall serves a community shopping function, and its stores currently include Zellers, Dominion supermarket, Blacks Camera, Blockbuster Video, Burger King, Business Depot, Dollarama, Everything For A Dollar Store, Moores, Payless and Shoppers Drug Mart.
It is approximately 342,500 square feet in area.
