The Simpsons third season originally aired between September 1991 and August 1992, beginning on September 19, 1991. The season contained two hold-over episodes from season 2's (7F) production line. The complete third season was released on DVD on August 26, 2003.

If I Only Had a Brain a.k.a. Homer's Nightmare – Mr. Burns uses Homer's brain to create the ultimate "worker robot", but the plan backfires. Later the robot falls on Mr. Burns, crushing him, he then has his head grafted onto Homer's body. A parody of The Thing With Two Heads. |

After a row with Marge, Homer heads to a bar, far out of town. There he meets a barmaid, Lurleen Lumpkin. He finds that she has a beautiful singing voice and he helps her to launch a country singing career. This leads to Marge fearing that he is no longer faithful to her.
