The Simpsons (season 8)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Simpsons' eighth season originally aired between October 1996 and May 1997, beginning on October 27, 1996 with "Treehouse of Horror VII". The season contained two hold-over episodes from the season 7's (3F) production line as well as two episodes from the (3G) production line.
The Complete Eighth Season was released on DVD in the U.S. on August 15, 2006, in the U.K. on October 2, 2006, and in Australia on September 27, 2006. The set was released in two different forms: a Maggie-shaped head to match the Homer and Marge shaped heads of the previous two sets and also a standard rectangular shaped box. Like The Complete Seventh Season, both box set versions will be available for sale separately.
