The Simpsons fifth season originally aired between September 1993 and May 1994, beginning on September 30, 1993. The season contained two hold-over episodes from Season 4's (9F) production line. The fifth season was released on DVD December 21, 2004. The fifth season is viewed by many fans as one of the best seasons produced. According to count, The Last Temptation of Homer is the 100th Episode.
