"Cabaret", is the thirteenth episode of the first season in the TV show Degrassi: The Next Generation.

Terri and Paige want to perform a new upbeat, pop version of Ashley's song. Ashley hates it because she thinks that the bubble-gum sound takes away from the substance and depth of it. Toby, in an attempt to win Emma's affection, decides to perform in the talent show with her.
