M'era Luna Festival

Das M'era Luna Festival ist ein seit 2000 von der Firma FKP Scorpio Konzertproduktionen veranstaltetes Musikfestival, welches jährlich am zweiten Augustwochenende auf dem Flughafengelände in Hildesheim stattfindet. Das Festival ist eine Fortführung des bis dahin an diesem Ort veranstaltetem Zillo Festival.
Mit derzeit mehr als 20.000 Besuchern ist es neben dem in Leipzig stattfindenden Wave-Gotik-Treffen eines der größten Festivals der Schwarzen Szene. An zwei Tagen finden auf einer Open-Air-Bühne und einer Bühne im Hangar Konzerte statt. Daneben gibt es in der Nacht noch ein Disko-Programm. Das Musikspektrum reicht von elektronischer Musik bis hin zu klassischem Metal und mittelalterlichen Klängen. Als Zeltplatz dienen die Grünflächen beiderseits der Landebahn.
In der aktuellen Version von Google Earth ist das Festival zu sehen.[1]
