Contents

  • Dr. Mobutu (deceased)– Professor Farnsworth’s former colleague, his apartment was once owned by Fry and Bender after his death
  • Mrs. Mobutu (presumably deceased) – Dr. Mobutu’s wife
  • Mary – A signed Calculon picture was given to her, but apparently Bender stole it and wrote his own name in
  • Zevulon the Great (deceased)– Another mummy, he is done teriyaki-style

[edit] Love's Labours Lost in Space

  • Doug – Leela's date at the beginning of the episode. He has a forked lizard tongue, but other than that no irregularities are noticeable.
  • Bolt Rollands – A hypersled racer that has 10 wins on the pro circuit. Amy tries to set him up with Leela at The Hip Joint but Bender points out that he's gay.
  • M5438 – An entity of pure energy that Amy also tries to set Leela up with. Bender once again claims that he is gay by saying "it's just as well, I think he comes from a dimension that's big on musical theater", although later Amy is seen leaving with him.

[edit] Fear of a Bot Planet

  • Visiting team lineup: Karis, Adler, Horsted, Verrone, Keeler, Buras, Cohen, Kaplan, and Morton
  • New New York Yankees lineup: Costanza, Maris*, Zork, Zork, Jr., Qzdjlyd, Lombard, Gore, Raspberry, and Jones with Clemens' arm
  • Miller – On pace to hit 70 blerns, Leela marks Qzdlyd's space with "B", but mentions his name
  • Clem Johnson – Old, but great blernsball player
  • "Wireless" Joe Jackson – A blern-hitting robot, used to play for the old Robot Leagues, his name is a reference to Shoeless Joe Jackson
  • Pitch-O-Mat 5000 – A pitcher in the old Robot Leagues, a modified howitzer
  • Rusty (deceased) – He is a robot actor shown in the film "It Came From The Planet Earth!" He is silver with a red jacket with white sleeves. It has an upper case R on the front of it which is red with gold trim. The robot meets his end when a human comes out of the bushes, rips of his head and devours it. The location for the movie was Makeout Point.
  • Wendy – She is a robot actress that was also in the film "It Came From The Planet Earth!" She is silver with a pink body and anntenae that stick out at 45° angles. Her boyfriend Rusty was killed by the human in the movie but she was able to escape unharmed until the human was eventually destroyed.
  • Jimmy – An incompetent Robot Elder

[edit] A Fishful of Dollars

  • Calvin Clone – Markets a perfume line, the name is a reference to Calvin Klein
  • Cosmic Ray – The owner of Cosmic Ray's Pizza. He is a robot wearing a chef's hat and an ill fitting muscle shirt. His accent is that of a typical New Yorker. His head explodes after Fry orders a pizza with anchovies due to the fact that in the year 3000 anchovies are extinct and have been since the Decapods came to Earth and they were overfished.
  • Ignar, Walt, and LarryMom's three sons
  • Staadgi & Staadgi – The presumed owner of Staadgi & Staadgi Auctioneers.

[edit] My Three Suns

  • Bont – Ruler of Trisol until Fry accidentally drank him. He is eventually released from Fry's body after he is cried out, despite his preference being spun in a high speed centrifuge to separate out his body from Fry's.
  • Murg – High priest of the Trisolians and advisor to the emperor. He is like other Trisolians in the way that he is made up of a blue liquid, but due to his rank he wears a purple hat will a gold insignia on it and a purple scarf. He also carries with him a staff that appears to be made of bronze or gold and has a ruby on top.
  • Gorgak – Former prime minister and administrator of the Trisolians, however Fry chose Bender to be the new prime minister over him. He has a normal Trisolian appearance with a smaller, red hat and scarf than Murg. Amy was unknowingly soaking her fingers in him at one point which is the equivalence of sex with humans.
  • Flork – Trisol's foremost political satirist. He is a Trisolian who does stand up comedy at Fry's coronation. He wears an orange bow-tie and has 2 fingers and a thumb on each hand, as opposed to other Trisolians that have 3 fingers and a thumb, however, in the episode "That's Lobsertainment," he has the appropriate number of digits and a blue bowtie.
  • Previous emperors of Trisol: Plon, Strug, Shwab, Bont "the Viscous", Ungo "the Moist", Zorn "the Stagnant", Hudj "the Dewy", and Throm "the Chunky"

[edit] A Big Piece of Garbage

  • Cinnamon – Professor Wernstrom's fish which utilized his reverse-SCUBA suit
  • Pete – Owner of Pete's TV. Little is known other than he has been letting people watch news reports in his window since 1951. This suggests that it is a family business, and that he is either not the first Pete, or that he is deceased.

[edit] Hell is Other Robots

  • Fender – A robot who resembles an amp with three knobs for volume, bass, and treble. He went to high school with Bender and is currently working for The Beastie Boys. After the concert him and Bender end up going to a party and participating in electricity abuse. The Device used is a "jolt".
  • Sparky – Presumed presider of Sparky's Den where Bender went to "jack on"
  • Big Vinny – This character is a mobster who lives on the planet of Sicili 8. Fry is convinced that he is gay and that it wasn't the kiss of death that Vini gave him. Leela confirms when Fry tells her that he used his tongue a little. He is most likely Italian since his name is Vinny and he lives on a planet named after Sicili of Earth.
  • Richie – Fry's old friend, made Fry feel like a fool because he lied about taking drugs and stealing his mom's VCR.
  • Jerimatic (deceased) – Mentioned by Bender in his prayer at Elzar's, he is the equivalent of Jerimiah in the Christian Bible. The prayer is in binary and at the end Bender says 2, although according to Fry, "there is no 2". The prayer to quote Bender is "1000101010101001011001...2 Amen" (the binary at the beginning - 1000101010101001 - really means the copyright symbol: "©". The rest - 100110... 2." is just gibberish and doesn't mean anything, according to a simple binary translator.) Not a lot is said about him but it is known that he is a prophet in the Robot Bible.
  • Hookerbot 5000 – A robot hooker in New Jersey
  • Reckless Ted – The owner of Reckless Ted's Funland, which is now shut down because of numerous people catching Salmonella on the flume ride. Located it New Jersey, it is also in one of the rides, The Inferno, that Robot Hell can be found. Robot Hell has at least 5 known levels where Bender suffers until his rescue.

[edit] A Flight to Remember

  • The Countess De La Roca (deceased) – She appears in the early in the episode when Bender sees her in first class. He instantly falls in love with her and tries throughout the voyage to impress her. She finds out that Bender is not a high class robot like herself but continues to be in love with him. She has orange hair and dresses in the style of the 1910s. She is also a class-3 yacht in The Yacht Club. She is killed in the end when she is sucked into a blackhole, leaving Bender with only a fake necklace. She could be a parody of Rose DeWitt Bukater, one of the characters from the film Titanic. Leonardo DiCaprio's head is also used to christen the ship "Titanic".
  • iZac – The bartender on the Titanic. Bender receives council from him at certain points in the episode. He has a normal robot appearance except for his hands, one of which is a tap for some sort of alcohol, brown in colour. He can also call security to him by pressing the iZac button on his chest when needed. His name is similar to that of things like iTunes or eBay (lower case first letter, upper case second letter). Also, it is a take off of the bartender of The Love Boat, Isaac. He is known to be alive because he is seen in other episodes that feature after this one, even though he is not seen in any of the escape pods.

[edit] Mars University

  • Guenter – Guenter is a monkey which gained super human intelligence when used in one of Professor Farnsworth's experiments. The professor created a hat which harnessed the power of sunspots thus making Guenter intelligent while wearing it. The hat was damaged in a fall and runs at only half capacity making Guenter a "moderately intelligent monkey". Guenter is currently the CEO of Fox after transferring from the engineering department at Mars University to the business school. He later reappers in "The Sting" at Fry's funeral.
  • Gearshift – Chapter president for Robot House. Bender labels him as a loser but agrees to teach him and the other robot to be cool. They were all on dodecatupple-secret probation until they won a boat race and got it lifted. Other accomplishments include raiding the campus liquor store and a parade in their honour.
  • Oily – Oily is a member of Robot house and an avid chess player. He is able to beat Fat Bot in 143 moves. He too was on dodecatupple-secret probation until it was lifted. What he does after Mars U is unknown but may have had something to do with chess.
  • Fat Bot - A large robot who eats whenever he gets nervous, namely Dean Vernon's model ship and a painting of the Dean.
  • Dean Vernon – The dean of Mars University. His office is located in Mentholyptus Hall. His disdain for Robot House is obvious. Reasons he has for hating them are stealing the liquor from the campus liquor store, Fat bot eating his model ship and painting, desecrating a human corpse and numerous other offences both to him and Mars U. Briefly, he went out with Leela but the fling was short lived and ending in the two not speaking again. He may also be slightly corrupted by Leo Wong's offer to buy the Phi-Beta-Kappa chapter, and the "generous contribution" he made in order to get Amy admitted.
  • Snake Boy – A carnie at Coney Island College where Fry first went to college.
  • Students in "20th Century History": Hess, Pereira, Mandel, Kidd, Dempsey, Gutrich, Patrizio, Cyterski, Mignon
  • Chrissy – Fry was infatuated with her and Guenter got a date with her due to his intelligence, her phone number is 784-36λ9.
  • Chet (von Snoot) – One of the students from Snooty House.

[edit] When Aliens Attack

  • Jenny McNeal (deceased) – An actress from the 20th century who plays the lead in Single Female Lawyer (an obvious parody of Ally McBeal). She is also played by Leela when they must finish the episode for the Omicronians. She wears a miniskirt and purple jacket. In court she is a councilor who sleeps with her clients and others in the court. She is presumed dead or as a head.
  • President McNeal (deceased) – Former President of Earth before Richard Nixon was elected. He was killed when he started to annoy Lrrr after being kidnapped by Zapp Brannigan. His last known act as president was to appoint Zapp in charge of killing all the Omicronians at which he failed. He is probably buried in Earth's floating cemetery.

[edit] Fry and the Slurm Factory

Slurms MacKenzie, the original party worm
Slurms MacKenzie, the original party worm
  • Slurms MacKenzie (deceased) – Portrayed by voice actor David Herman Slurms is referred to as "The original party worm". He is the mascot for the soft drink Slurm and is often accompanied by two female companions (referred to as "Dixie" and "Babe"). Due to his strict contract he is unable to sleep because he is required to party all night, every night. Behind his sunglasses his eyes are bloodshot and red. He was killed when a cave-in occurred and he was smashed by several tons of rock, though he sacrificed himself to save Fry, Leela and Bender. He is a parody of Spuds MacKenzie.
  • Glurmo – "Your golly-rific guide to the funtacular Slurm factory". He is a worm from the planet Wormulon with the usual worm traits. His attire is similar to that of Willy Wonka. He takes them on the tour of the Slurm factory but he eventually has to try and dispose of the crew when they discover the secret about Slurm. He is later made into two different worms after Leela karate chops his head off.
  • Grunka Lunkas – The Grunka Lunkas are clearly a version of the Oompa-Loompa which are featured in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. They perform all the manual labour of the factory and occasionally break into song. They are orange skinned, have blonde eyebrows and green hair, and are half the size of a human. The Professor hates Grunka Lunkas.

[edit] Season 2

[edit] I Second That Emotion

  • El Chupanibre – A monster that lived in sewer and now lives in the sub-sewer. It was thought to be Nibbler until they saw the real creature. Bender defeats the beast by flushing it to the sub-sewer. It is green, around 3 times Bender's height and has a horn in the middle of its forehead. In this episode you can see Leela's parents in the top left corner of the screen when Dwayne the mutant sings the story of El Chupanibre. It is well known that NO ONE knew who or where Leela's parents were until the fourth season.

[edit] Brannigan Begin Again

  • Grand Councilwoman Glab, a female Amphibiosian; the President of the Democratic Order of Planets.

[edit] A Head in the Polls

  • Jack Johnson and John Jackson – The two have identical DNA and so are copies, with the exception of a few topics they differ on. One of these issues is the 3 Cent Titanium Tax. Towards the end of the election, it appears that one of the two will win over Nixon, but in the end they both lose to him.

[edit] Xmas Story

Santa Clause, The evil version of Santa in the year 3000.

[edit] Why Must I Be a Crustacean in Love?

  • Edna (deceased) – A Decapodian from Decapod 10 who attended high school with Dr. Zoidberg. Being the most desirable female of Zoidberg's generation, she is the last to choose a mate. Fry attempts to help Zoidberg convince her of his genetic worthiness by teaching Zoidberg the art of human romance. Fry's suggestions are horrible by human standards, but they turn out to be very attractive to Decapodians, resulting in Edna falling in love with Fry. Eventually the Decapodian mating frenzy catches her by surprise, and she settles for mating with an elder Decapodian. As happens with all of her species, she dies after mating.
  • Vinnie (deceased) - A hermit crab who bullied Dr. Zoidberg when Zoidberg was younger (and apparently much smaller). Zoidberg picks him up and eats him, exclaiming "Who's the tough guy now, Vinnie!?".

[edit] Lesser of Two Evils

  • Halatina Smogmire – Miss Methane Planet and a contestant in the Miss Universe Pageant. She is made entirely out of methane and is purple in color. At the end of the contest she loses to Miss Vega 4.

[edit] Put Your Head on My Shoulders

  • Victor – Car salesmen at Malfunctioning Eddy's. He welcomes Amy and immediately tries to sell her a car. Leela as much as she tries cannot get Amy to grasp the concept of haggling and she pays more than the sticker price, much to the delight of Victor and Eddy.
  • Gary – Amy's date after Fry is grafted to her body. Unlike the other people whose dates were arranged by Bender, she was able to get her own date for Valentine's. He is a banking industry regulator, which apparently is not as easy at it appears.

[edit] Raging Bender

  • The Masked Unit – A robot wrestler that was eventually accidentally defeated by Bender. His real name is unknown. Defeating The Masked Unit landed Bender a deal with The Ultimate Robot Fighting League. Bender was able to knock him out accidentally when The Masked Unit slips on Bender's popcorn.
  • The Masked Unit Returns for a brief second in Bender Gets Made episode, only as a background character.
  • Phnog – He was Leela's old martial arts instructor who has sexist views on women. Often he claims that they lack the will of the warrior. Eventually it is revealed that he secretly controls Destructor from beneath the ring. In the end, Leela fights him and proves that she does have the will of the warrior.
  • The Clear Cutter – The first robot that Bender officially defeated. Although Bender sustained an axe hole in the back and a drill hole through the head he was able to win the match. Bender's victory was due to the match being fixed, so that the most popular robot always wins.
  • Billionaire Bot – The second robot that Bender officially defeated. The first of a series of robots that the crowd would obviously turn against, he was disliked by the public due to his wealth and snootyness. The match of course was fixed in Bender's favor so the crowd would like him even more and his publicity would rise.
  • The Foreigner – The third robot that Bender officially defeats and the second that the crowd didn't like. The crowd didn't like The Foreigner because of his "crazy passport" and because he wasn't from their country. His appearance is that of a Spanish bull fighter. Bender also triumphs over him in a fixed match.
  • Destructor – After Bender's persona is altered by the head of the ultimate robot boxing league into The Gender Bender, a battle is arranged between Bender and Destuctor, fixed in favor of Destuctor. Bender doesn't like his new guise, so he decides to train with Leela in order to defeat Destructor. In the end, Bender almost defeats Destructor (with the help of Leela), but ends up flattened under Destructor as he falls down.
  • The Chain Smoker – A robot fighter that plans to go to the audience's favorite restaurant after the match.

[edit] A Bicyclops Built For Two

  • Alkazar- a shape-shifting life form that has the appearance of a cricket. He tricks Leela into marrying him by saying they are the last of the Cyclops after a missile attack by neighbouring mole-like creatures killed everyone on the planet (Cyclopia). Alkazar survived because he was in a pool retrieving a dead possum.
  • Ratman/Ratman's Girlfriend/Pig - Anthropomorphized animal parodies of Al Bundy's friends, as they are spoofing Married With Children in this episode.

[edit] A Clone Of My Own

  • N/A

[edit] How Hermes Requisitioned His Groove Back

  • Number 1.0 – Appears to be the head of Central Bureaucracy, and flies around Central Filing on a biplane style desk. He also co-chaired a committee to change the colour of the book of regulations, which he kept grey
  • The Australian Slave - Is at 'spa 5' where Hermes And LeBarbra go on paid vacation

[edit] The Deep South

  • The Colonel – The mayor of Atlanta in the year 3000, he is based on Colonel Sanders.
  • Umbriel – The Colonel's daughter, she is a mermaid. She had brief relations with Fry.

[edit] Bender Gets Made

  • N/A

[edit] Mother's Day

  • Greeting Card (deceased) – A greeting card that was bought by Bender for Mom. After Mom called on her robots to rebel against the humans, he became a Communist (denouncing the "human bourgeoisie") and loyal slave to Mom. Bender ripped it to shreds after it told him that liquor would be outlawed in the robots' new world order.

[edit] The Problem With Popplers

  • N/A

[edit] Anthology of Interest I

The Vice Presidential Action Rangers playing Dungeons & Dragons with Fry after the universe imploded.
The Vice Presidential Action Rangers playing Dungeons & Dragons with Fry after the universe imploded.
  • Vice Presidential Action Rangers – "A group of top nerds whose sole duty is to prevent disruptions in the space-time continuum." The team is always led by the then-current Vice President as dictated by the United States Constitution, thus stating that the Vice President's duties are not limited to casting tie-breaking senatorial vote. In the year 2000, the group was led by Al Gore. The Action Rangers also consist of physicist Stephen Hawking; Gary Gygax, the creator of Dungeons & Dragons; and actress Nichelle Nichols, best known for her portrayal of Lt. Uhura on Star Trek. The chess playing computer Deep Blue was their summer intern at this time (a plot hole, given that Fry met the Action Rangers in January, shortly after New Year's Day).

[edit] War is the H-Word

  • iHawk – A robot surgeon who was helping casualties of the war, and performs surgery with his one hand (he has a martini glass in place of his left hand). He is a take on "Hawkeye" from the TV show M*A*S*H. Has two settings; Maudlin, and Irreverent. His naming scheme is a parody of the Apple product line (iPod, iMac, iLife).
  • Jellyfish Nurse - A take on Margaret "Hot Lips" Houlihan
  • The Brain Balls - The rulers of Spheron 1. "They've got a lot of brains, and a lot of... chutzpah."

[edit] The Honking

  • Vladamir (deceased) – He is seen in his demise at the beginning of the episode and is seen some afterwords being buried. He is Bender's uncle and owned a mansion, a butler and had 10 million dollars plus a pittance. He has one living son whose name is Tandy and was given his 10 million dollars. His butler received a pittance and Bender received his castle. Born in 2790, he was 211 years old when he died in 3001. Bender later runs into his ghost while running from the Windows logo and a mailbox icon. It is revealed later that it was just a hologram.
  • Blimpf (deceased) – His/her (gender is unconfirmed) name can be seen on a gravestone at Bender's Uncle Vladamir's funeral as the camera pans to the crew. Little is known other than he was the Hovermayor of Thermostadt (possibly the town that the mansion is in) and that the inscription on his grave stone reads "I will rise again," although so far in the series he has not.
  • The Red leBaron (deceased) – His (le and Baron are both masculine words) name can also be seen on a gravestone as the camera pans. The is no inscription on the tomb so nothing is known about him other than gender and that his name seems to be a take on The Red Baron.
  • You There – His real name is unknown but is in Vladamir's will to inherit a pittance to be paid in 20 equal installments of one twentieth of a pittance each. It is also mentioned that he was Vladamir's butler.
  • Tandy – Vladamir's only son who appears to be French in origin and has, according to Vladamir's will, "never learned the value of the dollar". He was given Vladamir's whole fortune of 10 million dollars. He responds by whispering to his wife or girlfriend next to him "is that a lot?".
  • Project Satan (deceased) – The original werecar that indirectly causes Bender to get a virus. The only way to get the uninstall program for the virus is to kill the original werecar, Project Satan. Its only known victim is Calculon but more are likely such as the scientists that created him. His parts include the steering wheel from Hitler's staffcar, the left turn signal from Charles Manson's VW and the windshield wipers from KITT. It also has no exhaust pipe due to the fact that it has Ed Begley Jr.'s electric motor, the most evil propulsion system ever conceived. It is finally destroyed when it melts in the furnace of the old Chrysler building.

[edit] The Cryonic Woman

  • Michelle - Fry's ex-girlfriend from the 20th Century.

[edit] Season 3

[edit] Amazon Women in the Mood

  • Ornik – One of the Amazonian women
  • Thog – One of the Amazonian women

[edit] Parasites Lost

  • N/A

[edit] A Tale of Two Santas

  • Kwanzaa-bot - Disappointed that he's had to hand out the book "What the hell is Kwanzaa?" for several centuries.

[edit] The Luck of the Fryrish

  • Philip J. Fry II (deceased) – Nephew and namesake of Philip J. Fry, Philip J. Fry II owned the seven-leaf clover found by his uncle/great-grandfather in the 1980s. The clover ensured that he was the luckiest man in history. His achievements included a string of top ten hits with his band Leaf 7, a fling with an Icelandic singer-supermodel, and striking oil in the bathroom of the mansion that he won in the lottery. The achievement he’s most famous for, though, is being the first man on Mars.
    Philip J. Fry II
    Philip J. Fry II
Philip Fry II was named in honor of Fry; based on his accomplishments, his personality seems to be very much like his namesake, however he looks identical to Yancy, his father. This led Fry, finding information about Philip Fry II, to believe Yancy had usurped his identity after he was frozen. Professor Hubert Farnsworth, Fry's great-great-great-...-great-nephew, is presumably a direct descendant of Philip J. Fry II, since Fry's only sibling was Yancy, and as far as is known Philip J. Fry II was Yancy's only child.

[edit] That's Lobstertainment!

  • Harold Zoid – Dr. Zoidberg's elderly uncle who used to be the star of silent hologram films, until the invention of smellovision. Zoid's character is an homage to Harold Lloyd, a silent movie comedian popular in the early 20th century. Zoid has the same trademark full-moon spectacles as Lloyd, not to mention strikingly similar names and mannerisms.

  • "God" - A galaxy that signals to Bender in binary when he stumbles across it. It begins speaking English as soon as Bender asks if it does. Because it knows binary, Bender believes it to be a galactic computer at first. When asked who it was build by, the galaxy replies with "I have always been." Bender then believes it to be God, or the remains of a computerised space probe that collided with God. The galaxy never confirms or denies these theories, replying only with "Possible."

[edit] Future Stock

  • Steve "That Guy" Castle (deceased) – A defrostee from the 1980s who took over Planet Express, and tried to sell it to Mom. He died from his boneitis just before the deal was completed.
