L'Open de Houston (Texas, États-Unis) est un tournoi de tennis professionnel masculin (ATP Tour) et féminin (WTA Tour).
L'épreuve féminine s'est tenue de 1970 à 1995, sur terre battue à partir de 1985. La première édition, le 23 septembre 1970, marque les débuts du tout nouveau circuit Virginia Slims, exclusivement féminin et autonome, prémice du WTA Tour.
Avec six titres (dont quatre consécutifs de 1976 à 1979), Martina Navrátilová détient le record du nombre de victoires en simple.
Basée à Houston depuis 2002, l'épreuve masculine (US Men's Clay Court Championships) s'est successivement tenue à Indianapolis (1969-87), Charleston (1988-89), Kiawah Island (1990), Charlotte (1991-93), Birmingham (1994), Pinehurst (1995-96) et Orlando (1997-2000).
