Geri D. Huser is the Iowa State Representative from the 42nd District. She has served in the Iowa House of Representatives since 1997. She received his BA from Briar Cliff College and is serving as a Planning Specialist with Polk County Social Services.
Huser currently serves on several committees in the Iowa House - the Judiciary committee; the Local Government committee; the Ways and Means committee; and the Transportation committee, where she is chair. She also has served as a member of the Altoona City Council since 1991 and the Metropolitan Planning Organization since 1990.
Huser was re-elected in 2006 with 8,493 votes, running unopposed. [1]
