욤키푸르 전쟁, 라마단 전쟁 또는 10월 전쟁 (히브리어: מלחמת יום הכיפורים/מלחמת יום כיפור, 아랍어: حرب أكتوبر/حرب تشرين) 또는 1973년 아랍- 이스라엘 전쟁은 1973년 10월 6일 부터 10월 26일까지 일어났던 이스라엘과 아랍 연합군(이집트와 시리아가 주축이 된)간의 전쟁이다. 제4차 중동 전쟁이라고 하며, 제2차 오일쇼크를 불러왔다.
전쟁은 욤 키푸르의 날에 이집트군과 시리아군의 시나이 반도와 골란 고원에서의 갑작스런 기습으로 시작되었다. 이 곳은 1967년 6일 전쟁 때 이스라엘에 점령된 지역이었다.[1]
이집트군과 시리아군은 첫 개전 24내지 48시간 동안 우세였으나, 그 이후 이스라엘군이 압도하게 되었다. 2주일이 지난 후에, 시리아군은 거의 다 이스라엘 북부인 골란고원에서 퇴각하였다.
이스라엘 남부인 시나이에서는 이스라엘군은 유엔의 정전 결의가 효력을 갖게 되기까지, 수에즈 운하를 건너 이집트를 맹공격했다.
