Lucky Glauber is a video game character in the King of Fighters series.

Lucky is a basketball player who also practices martial arts when he's not jamming and slamming in his local basketball court. Taking advantage of his long body, Lucky combines his skills using a basketball with his karate skills to create a deadly and spectacular new style. After a game at the street court, Lucky is approached by his old friend, Heavy D!. Heavy D! tells Lucky that he has received an invitation for the new format of the King of Fighters tournament, which would be introducing the team battle mode. So, he was anxious to hear if Lucky would join him. Since Lucky seems to owe Heavy D!, he gladly accepts. After the tournament, Lucky goes back to his turf and keeps polishing his skills in martial arts, of course, never overlooking a good one-on-one occasionally!
In the backstory of The King of Fighters '97, Yashiro Nanakase defeats Lucky so he could take Lucky's invitation to the King of Fighters tournament, thus prompting the entrance of the CYS band (New Face Team) in the upcoming competition.
Similarly, in the backstory of NeoGeo Battle Coliseum (A Dream Match game with the funny stories), Shermie defeats Lucky so she could take Lucky's invitation to the tournament.

Very different from Brian, who is always so violent, Lucky is very kind and very friendly. His jolly attitude and optimism always inspires a good fight. He also inspires teamwork, as he feels it is essential for victory. He never feels bad when he loses, he just takes it as a step towards perfection (so he doesn't seem to care about his team's mediocre participation in the tournament). In all, Lucky is a pretty nice guy, and never loses his cool.

- Lucky appears as Andy's unlockable Maniac Striker in the console version of KOF 2000.
- Lucky along with Heavy D! appeared in Orochi Iori's ending in SVC Chaos: SNK vs. Capcom.
- Lucky makes a cameo in the China stage of KOF '97 and the Mexico stage of KOF 2002 alongside Brian, Bob Wilson, and Duck King.
- The 4 colors within Lucky's color palette in The King of Fighters '98 resembles the uniforms of historic NBA teams. The A color (purple and yellow) resembles the uniform of the Los Angeles Lakers. The B color (red, black, and white) resembles the uniform of the Chicago Bulls. The C color (green and white) resembles the uniform of the Boston Celtics. The D color (gray, black and white) resembles the uniform of the San Antonio Spurs.
- A running gag seems to exist with the USA Sports team, where they will receive invitations to that year's KOF tournament, only to be beaten senseless and haven the invitations taken from them. This happened to them in 1995, 97, and 2000 (With Iori's Team, CYS, and Ramon, Seth, and Vanessa being the respective culprits), and to Lucky Glauber in Neo Geo Battle Coliseum (With Shermie being the assailant).
- Lucky is widely criticized for being a stereotype character. His appearance was initially believed by American fans to be what the Japanese programmers thought African Americans look like. The man throws magic basketballs as his projectile move. SNK Playmore, though, states his concept derives from a character in Bruce Lee's Game of Death (possibly, the one played by Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, given the fact both he and Lucky are basketball players).
