[edit] Shields
User:NE2 has created shields for all Primary Virginia highways in svg format. You can see them at Commons:Category:Virginia road signs. There are also PNG files, but those are not recommended for use, as the svg files are more up-to-date.
[edit] Category
Category:Virginia state highways
The category is sorted numerically by the place of the hundreds digit. The convention is
[[Category:Virginia state highways|xxx]]
where xxx is the route number of the highway you're editing. 1- and 2- digit numbers get leading zeros; thus Virginia State Highway 6 is categorized as 006.
This category will help you find articles that have been created and need to expanded: Category:Southern United States road stubs
[edit] Project Reference
A good place to begin would be the List of Virginia numbered highways, which has most of the highways right now.
